Terms and Conditions

Definitions

The following words shall mean:

Buyer:

The Company wanting to buy or having agreed to buy the goods from the Seller.

Conditions:

The terms and conditions set out in this document.

Contract:

Any contract between the Buyer and the Seller for the sale and purchase of the Goods.

Delivery Point:

The place at which the Goods are delivered to the Buyer.

Price:

The price for the goods excluding carriage and VAT, shall be the price set out in the Seller's current price list at the date on which an order is made. The prices, unless otherwise stated, are quoted per metre exclusive of VAT.

Working Day:

Monday to Friday excluding bank and other public holidays.

Settlement Terms

All accounts are payable no later than 30 days from date of invoice, if paid within 7 days of invoice date a 5% discount applies.

Prices:

All prices are quoted Sterling £ per metre.

Carriage:

UK-mainland including the Isle of Man

Orders below £1,000 exclusive of VAT - £ 10 per delivery
Orders in excess £1,000 exclusive of VAT - Free of Charge

Channel Islands

Orders below £1,250 exclusive of VAT - £ 20 per delivery
Orders in excess £1,250 exclusive of VAT - Free of Charge

Northern and the Republic of Ireland

Orders below £1,250 exclusive of VAT - £ 16 per delivery
Orders in excess £1,250 exclusive of VAT - Free of Charge

Other Destinations

Deliveries outside the above will be charged at the appropriate rate.

Pattern Books

Carriage of £5 will be charged on all pattern books delivered within the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and UK-mainland.
Other destinations will be charged at the appropriate rate.

Dispatch

The company will do its best to dispatch orders promptly, but in
the event of late deliveries the company will take no responsibility
for any consequential loss incurred.

Cut Length

Our minimum cut length for non-FR fabric is 1 metre. The minimum for any FR treated fabric is 5 metres and on some 10 metres.

Returns

a) No goods can be accepted back for credit without prior consent, in any case returns under 10 metres will not be accepted back.

b) We reserve the right to impose a 20% handling charge on any returns accepted back.

Liability

All goods are supplied on the condition that our liability for any fault or defect in the quality, condition, description or fitness for any purpose is limited to any amount not exceeding the purchase price of the particular goods.

We reserve the right to withdraw or alter any item from the price list without prior warning.

Retention of Title

Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk, property in and title to the goods shall remain with the seller until the seller has received payment of the full price of:

a) all goods subject of the contract:
and
b) all other goods supplied by the seller to the buyer under any contract whatsoever.

Payment of the full price shall include, without limitation, the amount of any interest or other sum payable under the terms and conditions of this and all other contracts between the seller and the buyer.
